I received one month ago my 3 kickstarter pico and so for sure start to begin.
After lot of reading, I decided to place some clay ball in pico, then used coco substrat. I put some fertilizer in a water bottle (because quantity of fertilizer to use with water is very small) according fertilizer documentation. Then each time I needed to add water in pico I used the water bottle with fertilizer. I started to grow Thai basil, coriander and chive.
All went absolutely fine, plant was growing fine. One day (may be one month after start) I see some little white things on pico water and on my bottle with fertilizer, so I read back fertilizer documentation and it state that fertilizer must not be prepared in advance (my fault) and I thought fertilizer with water on pico may be a not so good idea (because it’s like ‘prepared in advance’), so what I’ve done is t remove all water in all pico (turning them upside down taking care on the plant and nutrient, by the way it was not smelling good) then fill back pico with standard water (no more fertilizer). I’ve done this 2 weeks ago and since that plants are not growing anymore and even worse looks they are dying. I need to say that on all 3 pico, water was always between minimal and maximal level, automated led ligth from 6AM to 9PM so 15 hours/day, so not sure what’s the issue and got some questions
- Are coco nutrient with clay balls is correct for my configuration?
- what fertilizer we need to use and how we need to use it (in water, in coco, …)?
- how can I revive my plant?
Here some pictures
Any help would be really appreciated
