SPRINGTIME INDOOR PLANT CARE:
Aerating the soil
Come on, everyone needs more space to breathe! The soil, over a period of time, gets compacted leaving no space for air circulation. A gentle ploughing or re-potting of plants will give them space to breathe and stretch as well. Spring is the perfect time for plant growth, you should go ahead and take up this fun activity.
The good food
Just like how we need the right food to keep up our strength, our lovely plants need it too. During the growing season, it’s important that your plants are getting proper nutrients as well. You can easily get your hands on good fertilizers; these will help to maintain the plant’s health.
Lookout for Nuisance!
When the plants are all healthy and fine. There are chances of them getting infested by pests. One can look out for any visible contamination and remove it or slight use of pesticides is also fine. This will save your plants from losing strength.
A little Chop-Chop
Pruning faded blooms and trimming leaves turning yellow or brown is a good idea. Don’t worry the stems and the leaves will grow back. Pruning will also help to reduce the chances of diseases. If the plant looks bright, pruning or trimming is not required.
Bright light and Fresh air
Our plants need to feel delightful as well. Keeping them in a well-lit room with good ventilation will help them to bloom. Avoid placing your plants in dark spaces. With the perfect light, your plants are all set to cheer you up!!
And lastly, your plants need and do deserve love too. Shower them with all of your love and they will surely bring positivity and happiness to your comfort space, making it a perfect home!
